🚨 Vincent Kompany Sends Huge Michael Olise Message as Real Madrid Transfer Rumours Swirl

Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany has described Michael Olise as a “world-class” player amid renewed speculation linking the French winger with Real Madrid.

Olise has started the season in spectacular form, and Kompany believes the 24-year-old already possesses the talent, mentality and attention to detail required to operate among the best players in world football.

Kompany Has No Doubts About Olise's Level

Vincent Kompany has delivered a major statement on Michael Olise's development, insisting the Bayern Munich star is already a world-class player.

Speaking to Sky Sport, the Bayern boss was asked whether he considers Olise to have reached that level.

His answer was emphatic.

“Yes, of course. Without a doubt,” Kompany said.

The Belgian coach believes Olise's rise is not simply down to his technical ability.

He highlighted the winger's mentality and his attention to detail, particularly his ability to notice things during training and matches that other players might miss.

Olise's Explosive Start to the Season

The praise comes after an extraordinary run of form for the France international.

Olise has reportedly scored eight goals and provided four assists in seven games for Bayern this season.

His international performances have been equally impressive.

During the latest international break, Olise scored four goals and provided two assists across four appearances for France, further strengthening his growing reputation.

His performance against Belgium was particularly eye-catching.

Coming off the bench, Olise scored twice and played a major role in France's stunning late comeback.

Kompany Refuses to Take Credit

Despite overseeing Olise's development at Bayern, Kompany was quick to reject the idea that he had personally turned the winger into a world-class footballer.

Instead, he believes the qualities were already inside the player.

“I think a player with Michael Olise's talent would always make it,” Kompany explained. “He would always be one of the best players.”

Kompany also pointed towards Olise's mentality and football intelligence as major reasons behind his rapid rise.

For Bayern, that is an important message: their star winger is not simply enjoying a temporary purple patch.

His coach believes he has the foundations to remain among the elite.

Real Madrid Rumours Refuse to Disappear

Olise's extraordinary form has inevitably brought renewed attention from Europe's biggest clubs.

Real Madrid have repeatedly been linked with the Frenchman, while recent reports have again placed him on the Spanish giants' radar.

However, there is an important caveat.

Real Madrid officially denied in June that they had made direct or indirect contact with Olise, his representatives or people in his circle. The club also rejected reports of a potential €200 million move.

That means the current Madrid story should be treated as transfer speculation rather than evidence that negotiations are taking place.

Bayern, meanwhile, have little reason to make their star available.

Olise's current contract runs until June 2029, according to Bayern's official player profile.

Bayern Have a Major Decision Ahead

The situation could become even more interesting if interest from Real Madrid or other European giants continues.

Recent reports have suggested Bayern are discussing a new long-term contract for Olise, potentially running until 2032, although that remains a reported proposal rather than an official agreement.

For now, Bayern's position is strengthened by the fact that Olise remains under contract and is performing at an exceptional level.

The club also knows exactly what it has in the French winger.

He was named Bayern's Player of the Season by supporters in both his first two campaigns and was also voted Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2025/26.

Olise Is Becoming Impossible to Ignore

Michael Olise's transformation over the past two years has been remarkable.

After making his name at Crystal Palace, he moved to Bayern in 2024 and quickly established himself as one of the most important attacking players in Munich.

Now, with Kompany describing him as world-class and his performances for both Bayern and France attracting enormous attention, the winger has entered a completely different category of player.

Real Madrid may continue to be mentioned whenever his future is discussed.

But for the moment, there is no confirmed Madrid approach — while Bayern have a player their manager believes already belongs among the world's elite.

The Bigger Picture

Kompany's comments could hardly have come at a more interesting time.

Olise's performances are attracting attention across Europe, while Bayern are trying to keep hold of a player whose value and reputation continue to rise.

For now, the Frenchman remains a Bayern player.

But if his current trajectory continues, the transfer rumours surrounding him are unlikely to disappear anytime soon.
