Ferran Torres Takes First Champions League Player of the Week Award After PSG Hat-Trick

Ferran Torres has officially been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Week for Matchday 1, putting the Paris Saint-Germain forward at the centre of the opening round of the competition.

Torres produced a stunning European debut for PSG, scoring a hat-trick as the defending champions swept aside Slovan Bratislava 6-1 at the Parc des Princes.

His performance earned him the first Player of the Week award of the 2026/27 Champions League campaign.
