Ismael Saibari has revealed that he is yet to have a detailed conversation with Vincent Kompany about his role at Bayern Munich, despite completing a €50 million move from PSV.
The Morocco international was officially unveiled by Bayern after starring at the 2026 World Cup, where he scored in all three of his group matches before converting the decisive penalty against the Netherlands.
Saibari Has One Position in Mind
Saibari admitted that he has not yet discussed his position in detail with Kompany.
The 25-year-old explained that his immediate focus had been recovering from the hamstring injury he suffered during Morocco's World Cup campaign.
“We’ll definitely talk about it soon,” Saibari said when asked about his role under the Bayern manager.

Saibari's preferred position is the No. 10 role, but he is comfortable operating in several areas across midfield and attack.
