The New England Revolution have secured the future of United States international goalkeeper Matt Turner after reaching an agreement with Olympique Lyonnais to extend his loan stay. The new deal keeps the 32-year-old in Major League Soccer until 31 December 2026, with an option to extend the loan through the end of 2027 and a purchase option included in the agreement.

The extension provides continuity for both club and player following Turner's impressive return to New England. It also marks another important step in the goalkeeper's career after spending several years in Europe with Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Lyon.
