Charlie Woods has taken another significant step in his developing golf career after signing a Name, Image and Likeness agreement with TaylorMade.
The 17-year-old, son of golf legend Tiger Woods, has already attracted considerable attention because of his family connection to the sport. His latest commercial agreement provides another indication of the growing interest surrounding his career.
The deal was announced on September 4 and places Woods alongside a group of highly regarded young golfers associated with TaylorMade.
Woods has also continued to develop competitively. He recently recorded his best finish at the prestigious Junior Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, finishing tied for eighth after a final-round 71.
The result added another positive chapter to his progression through junior golf.
Woods has committed to Florida State for 2027, giving him another important stage on which to continue his development before potentially moving into professional golf.
For now, comparisons with his father are inevitable, although Charlie's career remains very much his own.
Tiger Woods became one of the most influential figures in golf history, creating enormous expectations around anything connected to his family. Charlie, however, is gradually building his own competitive record.
