Victor Osimhen has refused to completely shut the door on a Galatasaray exit, with Arsenal emerging as one of the clubs monitoring his situation.

The Nigeria international was asked about his future after scoring twice in Galatasaray's dramatic 2-2 draw with Çorum FK on the opening weekend of the Turkish Super Lig.

Rather than committing his future beyond the current situation, Osimhen kept his answer open-ended.

Osimhen Keeps His Future Open

Osimhen has become a huge favourite among Galatasaray supporters since arriving in Istanbul, but speculation over his future has returned this summer.

When questioned about the possibility of leaving, the striker made it clear that his immediate priority remains performing on the pitch rather than discussing transfer speculation.

That has nevertheless left the door open to further questions about whether he could leave before the transfer window closes.

Arsenal Watching Closely

Arsenal's interest in Osimhen is not new, but the situation has developed significantly in recent days.

The Gunners have held discussions with Galatasaray in connection with their interest in the striker, although there is no completed agreement for Osimhen to move to north London.

The talks have reportedly taken place alongside negotiations involving other players, meaning Arsenal's interest should not yet be treated as a straightforward transfer pursuit.

Galatasaray Do Not Want to Sell

There is an important obstacle for Arsenal.

Galatasaray have repeatedly indicated that Osimhen is not for sale and have already rejected a reported £111 million offer from Al-Hilal.

That stance makes any potential Arsenal move extremely complicated.

Osimhen only became a permanent Galatasaray player last summer after the Turkish champions paid Napoli €75m, making him the most expensive signing in Turkish football history.

A Situation to Watch

Osimhen's latest comments do not mean he is actively pushing to leave Galatasaray.

Instead, they underline the uncertainty surrounding his future while Premier League interest continues.

For Arsenal, the Nigerian would represent an elite attacking option. For Galatasaray, losing the striker after only one permanent season would be a major blow.

For now, though, Osimhen remains a Galatasaray player and no Arsenal transfer has been agreed.

The next few weeks could determine whether his carefully worded response becomes nothing more than transfer-window noise — or the beginning of another major move.
