Pape Matar Sarr is heading to Juventus, with the Italian giants reaching an agreement with Tottenham to sign the Senegal international.

Sarr gets his Juventus move
Juventus moved quickly for Sarr after missing out on Franck Kessié, while injuries in midfield increased the need for another option.
The Bianconeri identified the Tottenham midfielder as the ideal profile and accelerated negotiations in the final days of the transfer window.
Sarr had already made his desire to leave Tottenham clear, with manager Roberto De Zerbi confirming that the 23-year-old had asked to move elsewhere.
Deal structure revealed
The agreement is structured as an initial loan.
Juventus will reportedly pay €2 million for the loan, with a €26 million purchase obligation becoming active if certain conditions are met, including Champions League qualification and Sarr making at least 50 per cent of appearances.
That could take the overall package to €28 million.
A new chapter in Turin
Sarr joined Tottenham from Metz in 2021 and gradually established himself as an important part of the Spurs squad.
However, his position changed under De Zerbi, and the midfielder's desire for a new challenge eventually opened the door to a move to Italy.
Juventus now believe he can add energy, athleticism and technical quality to a midfield that required reinforcement.
Spalletti gets his man
The move is also a significant piece of business for Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti.
The club's midfield has been hit by fitness concerns, while the failure to land Kessié forced Juventus to look for an alternative quickly.
