Alexander Zverev will face Karen Khachanov in the second men's US Open semi-final as the German looks to continue an extraordinary run at the Grand Slams.
Zverev reached the last four after defeating Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 7-5, 6-1. The victory means he has now reached the semi-finals at all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2026.
The top seed will meet Khachanov, who advanced after Alexander Blockx retired from their quarter-final because of injury.
Zverev enters the match with a 6-3 head-to-head advantage over Khachanov and also defeated him in the 2021 Olympic final.
But the Russian will arrive with an opportunity to reach another major final and upset one of the tournament favourites.
With Ben Shelton facing Frances Tiafoe in the other semi-final, Friday's results will determine an intriguing US Open men's final matchup.
