Al Hilal have made Ollie Watkins one of their attacking targets, with the Aston Villa striker's future increasingly uncertain.

Watkins has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Saudi club, although a transfer still depends on an agreement between the two clubs. Al Hilal have already had multiple offers rejected by Villa, with the latest proposal reportedly worth around £45 million.

The England international was left out of Villa's squad for their Premier League opener, further increasing speculation over a potential departure.

Villa manager Unai Emery has acknowledged the situation, with the club prepared to consider a transfer if the conditions are right.

Martinelli Also on Al Hilal's Radar

Al Hilal are also pursuing Gabriel Martinelli, with Arsenal reportedly in discussions with the Saudi club over a potential deal.

Reports indicate that Arsenal could be willing to sell the Brazilian winger for around €70 million, although the transfer is not yet complete.

Martinelli has been left out of Arsenal's matchday squads recently, adding further uncertainty around his position at the club.

Unlike previous reports suggesting he was reluctant to move to Saudi Arabia, more recent reporting indicates that Martinelli's stance may have changed and that he is now open to the possibility of joining Al Hilal.

Two Premier League Stars in Al Hilal's Plans

The possibility of signing both Watkins and Martinelli would represent a major attacking investment for Al Hilal.

Watkins would provide experience, goals and Premier League pedigree through the centre, while Martinelli would offer pace and directness from the wing.

However, the club still has to negotiate with both Aston Villa and Arsenal, meaning there is no guarantee that either transfer will be completed.

Watkins Situation Could Move Quickly

Watkins' situation appears particularly advanced.

The striker has reportedly agreed personal terms with Al Hilal, while Villa are already considering potential replacements should he leave. Reports have linked the club with Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson as a possible replacement.

That could make Watkins one of the most significant Premier League departures of the remaining transfer window.

Martinelli's Future Remains Uncertain

Martinelli's situation is slightly different.

Arsenal remain in negotiations over a potential sale, but the Brazilian's future could depend on whether the Gunners can complete their own attacking plans.

The winger has been an important player for Arsenal since arriving in 2019 and has made hundreds of appearances for the club.

A departure would therefore represent a significant change for Mikel Arteta's squad.

Sevens Sports Arena Verdict

Al Hilal are showing serious ambition in the transfer market, with Ollie Watkins and Gabriel Martinelli both emerging as targets.

Watkins appears to be the more advanced deal after reportedly agreeing personal terms, while negotiations over Martinelli are also developing.

If Al Hilal manage to sign either player, they would add proven Premier League quality to their attack.

With the transfer window approaching its final stages, both Watkins and Martinelli could have major decisions to make about their futures.
