Bianca Belair has revealed that she is dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, adding another setback to her lengthy recovery from the finger injury that has kept her away from WWE in-ring competition.

The former WWE Women's Champion shared the update on social media, explaining that she is experiencing numbness in her fingers, a loss of feeling in the finger that previously required surgery, and reduced grip strength. She also mentioned developing what is commonly known as “mom thumb.”

Another Setback During Belair's Recovery

Belair has been dealing with her original hand injury since WrestleMania 41 in April 2025, when she fractured her left ring finger during the Triple Threat match involving Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.

The injury eventually required surgery, which Belair underwent earlier this year. She subsequently began rehabilitation as she worked toward recovering full movement in the affected finger.

Despite making progress with rehabilitation, the latest problems affecting both hands have created another challenge for the WWE star.

Belair Details Her Symptoms

Belair's latest update provides a clearer picture of what she is currently experiencing.

She revealed that she has carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, alongside completely numb fingers, a lack of feeling in the finger that underwent surgery and reduced grip strength.

The symptoms are particularly significant for a professional wrestler, given the physical demands placed on the hands and wrists during training and competition.

Long Road Back to WWE

Belair's absence has already lasted much longer than originally expected.

Her initial injury occurred when her finger became caught underneath Rhea Ripley during a sequence involving all three competitors at WrestleMania 41. Belair later explained that the finger had been fractured in multiple places.

She continued rehabilitation for months and had previously provided updates showing improvements in her finger movement.

However, Belair's return timeline has also been affected by another major life event.

Belair Welcomes Her First Child

At WrestleMania 42 in April 2026, Belair announced that she was pregnant during a surprise appearance.

She and husband Montez Ford have since welcomed their first child together, with the couple announcing the birth of their son, Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford, earlier this month.

That means Belair is currently balancing motherhood with her ongoing recovery.

Return Plans Remain Unclear

There is currently no confirmed date for Belair's return to WWE competition.

The latest hand problems add another layer of uncertainty to her comeback, particularly as she continues recovering from her previous injury.

For now, Belair appears focused on her health and family while continuing to work toward getting back into wrestling shape.

Sevens Sports Arena Verdict

Bianca Belair's latest update is another reminder of how difficult her road back to the WWE ring has been.

After suffering a serious finger injury at WrestleMania 41 and undergoing surgery, Belair had been making progress in rehabilitation. Now, dealing with carpal tunnel symptoms in both hands has presented another challenge.

The priority will be for Belair to fully recover before considering a return to competition.

For now, WWE fans will have to wait for further updates from The EST as she continues her recovery and adjusts to life as a new mother.
