WWE has announced a stacked lineup for Monday Night RAW on August 17, 2026, with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns set to return and several major stars advertised for action in Buffalo.
The show will take place at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, and WWE has already confirmed a number of major names for the event.
Roman Reigns Returns
One of the biggest attractions will be the return of Roman Reigns.
The World Heavyweight Champion was absent from the August 10 edition of RAW but is advertised to appear on August 17. His return comes as the title picture continues to develop following SummerSlam.
Reigns' presence alone makes the episode a must-watch, particularly with several major Raw stars also advertised.
Rey Mysterio Challenges Chad Gable
An Intercontinental Championship match has also been officially confirmed.
Chad Gable will defend the title against Rey Mysterio, giving the legendary luchador another opportunity to capture championship gold.
The match was confirmed by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce after Mysterio and Gable agreed to compete against each other during the previous episode.

Reigns' return, Mysterio's title opportunity and the presence of several of WWE's biggest stars could make this one of the most important episodes of RAW in the weeks following SummerSlam.
WWE's August 17 RAW already has plenty of star power, and with additional matches and segments potentially still to be announced, Buffalo could be in for a major night.
