Zilla Fatu made an immediate impact on WWE NXT, crashing the main event and putting himself directly into the NXT Championship picture.
The son of late WWE star Umaga, Fatu made his official WWE debut on the August 11 episode of NXT, interrupting a No. 1 contender's match between Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana.

Waller and Montana were competing for the opportunity to challenge NXT Champion Tony D'Angelo when Fatu suddenly entered the ring.
He attacked both competitors, bringing the match to an abrupt end.
